the 'video' is well hidden in the AVCHD folder structure under
private/avchd/bdmv/stream/ ... as .mts
DCIM Folder contains only stills, if cam supports both video and still (mine does both too).
just use the Open Archive command and select the 'Water Bootc...' folder, iM picks up the correct files. Don't care about file structure.

one thing irritates me:
your screen-shot lists 'hidden' files => starting with a '.' in their names - this shouldn't happen, and is hidden for good reason.
.... why your cam starts to save a sequence of hundreds of stills is a riddle - pushing the wrong knob? 😉

When I quit, it pops up that little annoying windowsish box that says 'You have 4 tabs open, do you want to close this window anyway?'
Well, if I wasn't, I wouldn't have clicked on the close button.
I hate these developers that build in the 'save the user from themselves' features with no way to turn them off.
And you'll notice, I was quite a good boy, no swear words.
